Watch the Irish Farmers Journal Crop Tour every night
Next week the Irish Farmers Journal will bring you a Crop Tour for Harvest 2025. We’ll travel around the country with top agronomists looking at crops and estimating yields, while also examining grain quality, straw yield and quality and estimating total production.
Across the week we will bring you a new video each evening from a different county, chatting to agronomists, featuring crops, examining what went well and what impacted on crop yields this season, as well as examining what could be improved upon.

We’ll bring you to the tillage fields harvest intakes for Harvest 2025 and talk about opportunities for the sector, end-markets, views from the cab and grain prices.
The videos will go live on the Irish Farmers Journal website each evening at 7pm from Monday 28 July to Friday, 1 August. For all the latest news on the Crop Tour you can visit this link.
The Irish Farmers Journal Crop Tour is supported by BASF’s Farming the Biggest Job on Earth campaign.
