Quinlan’s Fish is among the producers celebrating the results of the Great Taste Awards, as it’s Smoked Wild Irish Salmon and Smoked Organic Irish Salmon will now carry the Great Taste logo.

Quinlan’s Fish is a family-run business, based in Caherciveen, Co Kerry. They currently have four fish shops in Killorglin, Caherciveen, Tralee and Killarney, as well as two Seafood Bars in Tralee and Killarney.

“We are thrilled and honoured to have received two sets of two gold stars at the Great Taste Awards, acknowledging the high standards of taste, texture and quality that we are continuously striving to achieve with all of our products.

“We have been smoking fish using a traditional kiln for the past 50 years and we pride ourselves on supporting Irish and local products,” says Liam Quinlan, managing director of Quinlan’s Fish.

“After winning the Radio Kerry Business of the Year Award in March, we felt these awards were the next step in building larger brand awareness outside of Kerry. Having the recognised black and gold logo now as a seal of approval, we can use this to broaden our existing export markets for our much sought-after smoked salmon products.”
