#ArableApril is off to a strong start with farmers and individuals taking to Twitter and Facebook to show their support for tillage farming in Ireland. The campaign follows a succesful social media campaign by dairy known as #Februdairy.
The Irish Grain Growers (IGG) group has called on the tillage sector to get behind #ArableApril and the tillage sector.
Farmers and the wider tillage sector are answering that call with a vocal display of social media support.

Took the long way home this evening & it turned out quite well. Delighted to get one of the local contractors getting Spring Oats drilled before the rain in tonight's forecast. @JohnDeere 6150M with a @KvernelandGroup DA Drill #ArableApril @GrowersGrain #DeereSighting pic.twitter.com/PXty9uKYTd
