I see that a group of runners from rural Ireland managed to raise over €13,600 for Embrace FARM.

TeamIreland took on to run over 1,000 miles to raise funds and awareness of rural mental health issues.

The Run1000 challenge was run across five countries to highlight the benefits that running and walking bring to mental health.

The beneficiaries of Ireland’s contribution, Embrace FARM, supports families after the death or serious injury of a loved one from a farm accident.

Announcing the total raised on Twitter, dairy farmer and founder of ag mental health week Peter Hynes thanked everyone who donated to the cause.

A big bualadh bos to everyone involved.
