Weather forecast

Saturday morning is forecast to be blustery and very wet, with widespread heavy rain, bringing with it a risk of some spot flooding, Met Éireann has warned.

However, brighter, more showery weather is forecast to develop in Atlantic coastal areas later in the morning, which will extend across the country during the course of the afternoon.

Sunday is forecast to be a dry day apart from a few showers in the north and west. with some hazy sunshine.

However, Met Éireann has said cloud will build from the south later in the day and rain will move in across the south and east of the country during the evening.

Top temperatures of 10°C to 13°C are forecast in light or moderate southerly breezes, extending nationwide.
