Bulls being loaded on to the livestock carrier, Sarah, bound for Libya at the Port of Cork. The bulls are a mix of Continentals, Angus, Hereford and Friesians with an average weight of 420kg. Organic dairy farmer Pat Ward from Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath, made the move from beef in April 2018. He hand-built a small milking parlour, hand-mixing all of the concrete himself and purchased the milking equipment secondhand. \ Philip Doyle
