Two boats were loaded this week with cattle destined for Libya and Jordan.
A northern-based exporter loaded 1,600 forward stores in Greenore port yesterday.
The shipment contained a range of O and R grade Aberdeen Angus, Hereford and continental cattle.
A southern-based exporter is also loading 1,500 Friesian bulls destined for Libya this week in Foynes port, Limerick.
Live exports are up 11% for the first two months of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
