The annual Irish Grassland Association conference took place in the Charleville Park Hotel, Co Cork, on 9 January.
A 700-strong crowd turned up to the event and farmers gave their opinion and plans for the future of the dairy industry.
Farmers described 2018 as a "freak year" and said they wouldn't let it put a serious dampener on expansion plans, while young farmers at the event remained positive about the future of the industry.
