Cork’s Páirc Uí Chaoimh is to reopen on Saturday and 100% Irish, prime beef burgers will be on the menu, sourced from local suppliers.

Compass Group Ireland has been chosen as the foodservice provider for Páirc Uí Chaoimh and has committed to sourcing as much food produce as possible from Cork and Munster suppliers for the newly redeveloped sports stadium.

Local suppliers both in Cork and across Munster confirmed by Compass Group include Barry’s Tea and Hodgins Sausages.

All beef at the venue will be 100% Irish and sourced from local farmers in Cork where possible.

In addition, Atlantis Seafood will be operating two boats out of the west Cork harbour of Castletownbere, who will be providing locally caught fish for the ‘Catch of the Day’.

Options for match-goers

When the stadium reopens, there will be a range of options on menu boards across the seven hot-food kiosks for match-goers.

These will include “The Butcher’s Grill” serving prime Irish beef-burgers, and a pizza outlet offering both pizzas and sub sandwiches.

Since its appointment, Compass Group has created 350 casual jobs at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, in addition to seven full-time positions based in Cork to service the facility.
