The Countryside Productivity Small Grants Scheme (CPSGS) is due to receive £30m of further funding rounds from the UK government, it was announced earlier this week.

The scheme, which is available to farmers in England only, received the first round of funding in February and the government is on course to have granted over £15m to farmers who applied to buy new equipment.

The scheme helps farmers to secure kit specific to cattle, sheep and pig farms, as well as for precision farming and arable farmers.

The next application window will open early next year, when the £30m of funding will be available.
