AIB has a new €500m fund available to support the growth and development of Ireland’s agri sector at farm level.
The fund will support finance for capital projects, working capital and asset finance. The bank has said that this fund also allows AIB to support farmers who wish to refinance debt from banks that are exiting the Irish market.
AIB has also strengthened its agri adviser team, adding a further six people to support customers on the ground.

Since the 1970s, AIB has always maintained a specialist agri advisor team, qualified in Agricultural Science, to support the banks understanding of farm businesses.
