Amazone’s latest Pantera is powered by a six-cylinder, turbocharged, air-cooled Deutz engine, churning out 218hp.

Engine management control allows for two power modes – Eco and Power. Eco reduces the power output and saves on fuel, while Power increases engine output for hilly or sloped terrain.

Stage V emissions are met using exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), a continuously regenerating diesel particulate filter (DPF) along with Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and SCR catalyst to reduce nitrogen oxide levels. Its diesel tank is capable of holding 230l and DEF tank 20l.

Amazone’s SmartCenter is located with the induction hopper and complete operator station under the left side cover beside its suction filling ports. The Comfort-Pack 1 and TwinTerminal 3.0 gives operators more comfort when working at the induction hopper. The sprayer is fitted with automatic fill stop for suction filling as standard. Information such as fill level can be inputted from the Isobus terminal or at the TwinTerminal. Agitator control regulates agitation intensity depending on tank level while the comfort pack carries out automatic cleaning of the sprayer from the cab.

Alternatively the Pantera can be equipped with the Comfort-2 pack which includes an additional freshwater pump. This pack allows the sprayer to be cleaned continuously during the filling procedure.

The Pantera is available with ContourControl boom control allowing for higher speeds with active SwingStop controlling horizontal boom movement. Super-L2 and new L3 booms in conjunction with ContourControl include the new Flex-fold feature, making the folding sequence 40% quicker, Amazone claims. AmaSelect provides the sprayer with individual nozzle control.

Other updates include dust proof storage compartments and LED rear lights.
