Aurvio has cut its base price for February supplies of milk to 32.25c/l (excluding VAT), down from the base of 33.68c/l paid in January.

When Aurivo’s early calving payment of 1.49c/l (excluding VAT) is added to the base price, the February milk price stands at 33.75c/l (excluding VAT).

The average price paid to Aurivo suppliers in February will be 37.66c/l (excluding VAT), based on the average co-op solids.

The Aurivo base price adjustment is due to continued weakness in dairy markets, particularly powder prices.

Market returns continue to remain significantly behind our current manufacturing milk price.
