Higher milk powder prices have led to an increase in the Ornua purchase price index (PPI) for November to 30.26c/l, excluding VAT. The PPI for the month is 106.6.
Aurivo lifted its base milk price by 0.25c/l for November at a board meeting on Monday to bring November prices to 28.57c/l excluding VAT at 3.3% protein and 3.6% fat.
Kerry Group also upped its base price by the bones of 1c/l for November milk supplies to 28.93c/l. Arrabawn Co-op also upped November milk price by 1c/l to reach a base of 28.65c/l excluding VAT.
Dairygold increased its price by 1c/l to 28.64c/l.

Last week, Glanbia set its price at 28.46c/l, excluding VAT. Glanbia Ireland (GI) also increased by 1c/l to pay a base milk price for November of 27.51c/l excluding VAT. Lakeland Dairies said it will pay suppliers a base price of 28.75c/l, excluding VAT, for November supplies.
