Award-winning Galway milliner Caithríona King – whose creations were rapturously received by visitors to the Irish Country Magazine pavilion during the recent Ploughing Championships – has teamed up with a host of local creatives for a stunning shoot to showcase her autumn/winter collection.

“The beautiful colours that we have at this time of year have been reflected in my pieces. The felt hat with green trimmings and pheasant feathers is perfect for any country look and the vibrant blue pillbox piece with peacock feathers sitting proudly on top would be stunning for any winter wedding,” explains Caithríona.

Working from a studio on the family sheep and suckler farm near Tuam, Caithríona creates quality hand-crafted feathered and beaded headpieces, bridal styles, tiaras, jewellery and hats in a stunning array of colour, design and textures.

“My speciality is to customise each piece to suit your individual requirements, enjoying a close hands-on approach in providing you with exactly what you want for that special day,” she says.
