China’s Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs Han Changfu is in Co Cork this Friday, where he and his Irish counterpart Michael Creed signed a co-operation agreement for the next three years.

Minister Han’s visit coincides with the opening of the Vistamilk SFI research centre on Teagasc’s Moorepark campus. The centre, funded by Science Foundation Ireland and the Department of Agriculture, aims to bring together the agri food and information technology industries to drive innovation and sustainability across the dairy supply chain.
