The crop of RGT Planet has received its nitrogen (N) top dressing at this stage, bringing its total nitrogen application to 110 units N/ac (137kg N/ha).

The crop is pictured on 19 April, having received nitrogen over the weekend.
Some growers may split N applications, particularly those growing crops for feed. However, front-loading is advised with malting crops.
This crop was planted in March so an aphicide is not needed.
