Up to €2,500 in grant aid can be claimed for professional services used when drawing up a farm partnership agreement. The closing date for the sixth tranche of the collaborative farming grant scheme is 7 December 2018. The payment will be calculated up to 50% of the vouched (VAT-exclusive) cost for each of the legal, advisory and financial services incurred in the drawing up of the farm partnership agreement, up to a maximum payment of €2,500.
Copies of detailed invoices and receipts for the costs incurred must be sent with the application.
Payments relating to the sixth tranche will issue in early 2019. The scheme aims to encourage farmers, who are establishing farm partnerships, to adopt best practice by engaging the help of experts when drawing up the farm partnership agreement.
