Green diesel prices continue to be low this week, with some suppliers cutting by a further 1c/l on Monday.
This leaves prices typically in the range of 44c/l to 46c/l plus 13.5% VAT, with some buying groups getting further discounts. When VAT is added, these prices equal 49.9c/l to 52c/l.
International crude oil prices fell again on Monday, which suggests retail prices here could fall further over this week. The feeling in the industry is that the bottom of the market has not been reached. If the low prices continue over the coming weeks, they will start to benefit more farmers and contractors as fieldwork gets under way.

Meanwhile, prices for white diesel for use in road vehicles have also fallen. Some suppliers are quoting in the range of 89c/l to 91c/l plus 23% VAT. With VAT added these prices equal 109c/l to 112c/l.
