There will be a special sale of beef and store heifers in Dowra Mart on Saturday 26 September.
“There will be a large number of stock for sale and there’ll be lots ranging between 450kg and 650kg,” Dowra Mart manager Terry McGovern told the Irish Farmers Journal.
The sale is set to start at 1pm and will be in conjunction with the usual cattle sales.
Sales
On Saturday 3 October, the mart will hold its annual show and sale of bull weanlings, consisting of mainly continental breeds. There will also be a special sale of BDGP-eligible females.
Later in October, there will be the annual autumn show and sale of heifer weanlings.
