Get involved and raise a glass this World Milk Day
The National Dairy Council is putting out a call for Irish families to get involved with World Milk Day on 1 June, writes Janine Kennedy.

Do you love milk? The National Dairy Council wants you to share that love with its new ad campaign 'Raise a Glass' on World Milk Day.

On 1 June (World Milk Day), the NDC has secured a three-minute ad space during the 6pm RTÉ news.

According to NDC communications manager Cathy Curran, the campaign will focus not only on the essential role that dairy farmers play in Irish food production, it will also feature families and individuals around Ireland who love milk and appreciate the work that goes into producing quality Irish dairy products.

"This campaign celebrates what is truly special about Ireland – our unique way of farming coupled with the passion of our dairy farmers to produce high-quality dairy products and a nation of people that simply #LoveIrishDairy," she writes.

The NDC is calling on Irish families and individuals to participate in the ad campaign by sending a short video of you raising a glass to those you admire and are thankful for this World Milk Day.

To feature, record a short video of you and your family raising a glass of milk shot in landscape (phone held horizontally) and then send the video via WeTransfer to by Monday 25 May at 10am.
