A hay shed on a farm in Carrick-on-Suir ignited on Saturday morning. Fire crews from the town attended the blaze and posted photos of flames engulfing the shed.

As is clear from the photos posted to the Tipperary Fire and Rescue Facebook page that a large number of bales as well as a tractor have been destroyed as a result of the fire.

The Carrick-on-Suir brigade were assisted by crews from Cahir and Clonmel and they were relieved by the Portlaw brigade from Waterford.
