I see the Presbyterian Church in Ireland joined others in praying for farmers facing weather and fodder pressure at the weekend. On Sunday, Rt Rev Dr Noble McNeely asked all his ministers to remember farming communities in their prayers. They prayed specifically for improved weather and the drying out of saturated land, better conditions for fodder and spring crop sowing, as well as for farmers and their families coping with the physical and mental demands.
