Kerry Group has reported solid sales volume growth of 3.7% in the first three months of 2018. Announcing first quarter results on Thursday, Kerry Group said it achieved 4.3% growth in sales volumes in its taste and nutrition division, while volumes increased 1.6% in its consumer foods business. Pricing across the business increased a little under 1% in the first quarter of the year.
The Tralee headquartered company said growth in underlying profit margins had been offset by negative currency translations.
Edmond Scanlon, Kerry Group chief executive, said the first quarter results were in line with expectations.
