Amazone has extended its range of disc options for the Catros compact disc harrow with the new X-Cutter disc. The manufacturer says this waved profile disc is designed for very shallow tillage and that the disc profile produces an intensive movement of the full surface area featuring high mixing intensity close to the surface to generate faster decomposition.
The X-Cutter disc has a diameter of 480mm for a high peripheral speed, while the German manufacturer says it performs optimally at working depths from 2cm to 8cm.
The X-Cutter disc is available as an option for new orders or for retrofitting to various models from the Catros+ and CatrosXL compact disc harrow range.
Amazone has also added a leading knife roller to the product range. The new addition sits behind the three-point linkage mounting and in front of the first row of discs. The firm says the two new additions to the Catros range enable a multi-dimensional cutting action to take place.
