After its launch at Bauma 2025, the new 10-tonne Komatsu WA170M-11 compact wheel loader is now available in Ireland.
Power for the WA170M-11 comes from its in-house built 128hp Stage V, HVO Diesel fuel ready engine with a hydrostatic transmission and high 550 Nm torque.
Available with a 40km/h transmission, prominent machine features are namely its redesigned cab and machine design. In-cab comforts include automatic air conditioning and a high-back comfort seat with headrest, a seat-mounted two-way adjustable control console, and a fully-digital machine monitor display as standard. Safety features include a high-definition rear view camera and high-visibility, rear LED working lights with automatic rear-driving activation. Optional is the new Komatsu short-lever joystick steering, heated rear window and mirrors, additional LED working lights, and anti-drop valves.
Additional features include new heavy duty axles, 100% lockable front and rear axles, auto idle stop timer, tool linkage or Z-bar boom, load-sensing hydraulics, a quick coupler, high-flow hydraulics, and optional load stabiliser.

The engine hood and cabin are tiltable, with daily service points easily accessible from the ground. A factory-fitted, wide-core, swing-out hydrostatic-driven radiator fan, and extended service intervals ease maintenance. Fitted with a 160l/min variable displacement piston pump, the loader has an operating weight of 9,580kg to 10,575kg.
Protective air ventilation preparation, front and rear 3rd and 4th hydraulic circuits for attachments increase versatility.
Also included in the package is Komatsu Komtrax Step 1+ advanced machinery management with 4G mobile communications. Waste Handler specification, tool control system, Speed Control are optional.
