Potential strike action by some workers at Dale Farm remains suspended, with representatives from the co-op and trade union, Unite, in talks in the hope of reaching a resolution, a Dale Farm spokesperson has confirmed.

An initial three-day strike by drivers and engineers over pay, was due to take place from Wednesday 20 August, with the threat of further strikes in the weeks ahead.

“Discussions have been ongoing with Unite. Our farmers can be assured that milk will be collected, as normal, during this period.
