An introduction to deer farming demonstration day will be held in Perthshire next week giving farmers the opportunity to learn more about the management and requirements of deer farming.
Farmers will have the opportunity to hear from various speakers and experts on deer farming in Scotland at the first of two events taking place next week.
The event, Introduction to Deer Farming, is organised by the Venison Advisory Service (VAS) and chartered surveyors Bell Ingram and will take place in Perthshire at the Village Hall, Kinloch Rannoch and at Innerhadden Deer Farm on Thursday 26 July.
Talks will focus on herd management and stocking, fencing and equipment requirements as well as finance and land management and followed by a visit to Innerhadden Farm.

A second event is due to take place further north in September.
