Met Éireann is forecasting a cool and blustery day with a mixture of sunny spells and showers, some of them locally heavy and thundery.

This is most likely in the west in the morning, and in the centre and east of the country in the afternoon and early evening.

Top temperatures should range between 13°C and 16°C. The outlook for the rest of the week is for wet and unsettled weather.
