€620m in advance payments – how to know if you have been paid
Over €620m in Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) and greening payments will start landing in over 100,000 farmers’ accounts this Tuesday. How will you know you have been paid?
There are several ways of keeping track of your BPS payments.

Farmers cleared for the advance basic payment who have signed up for the Department of Agriculture’s text service have already received a text. A remittance slip will issue to farmers, which outlines the calculation of your payment under both the BPS and greening (which have replaced the Single Farm Payment) and any deductions applied.
Despite the fact that the BPS and greening are separate measures, the Department has combined the payments as one for transfer to applicants’ bank accounts.
If you are registered for Agfood.ie, your payment details including remittance information can be viewed immediately online from the new Financial Self-Services application on the Department’s website.

For farmers who have not yet received a payment, the Department is currently processing all such cases, and payments will continue to issue on a regular basis over the coming weeks. If you have received correspondence from the Department in relation to a query on your application, you should send back in the information requested to facilitate the processing of remaining applications.
