China – US soya purchase

The US administration is reporting that China has agreed to purchase at least 12m tonnes of US soya in the last two months of 2025.

Uruguay – beef exports up

Uruguay’s beef exports to the EU from January to October were 43,686 tonnes, a 40% increase on the same period last year (WBR).

United States – US-Canada-Mexico agreement

The Meat Institute, which represents US processors, has called for the renewal of the free trade agreement with Canada and Mexico, saying it “reinforces American national security”.
