Vietnam – Irish beef on menu
Bord Bia has launched Irish beef in Ho Chi Minh, with a butchery demonstration and serving samples to key chefs, restaurateurs, distributors and media.
Ukraine – Chicken exports rise
The USDA forecasts that Ukraine’s chicken meat exports will increase by 40,000t to 530,000t in 2027, having already increased by an estimated 40,000t in 2026.
Australia – dairy challenges
Despite milk collections increasing by 4.9% to 4.49bn litres between January and July 2026, the Australian Dairy Products Federation reports that competitiveness remains the largest challenge for the industry (DCA).
Canada – wheat production
The USDA estimates that Canadian wheat production will be 36.5m tonnes in marketing year 2027/27, which is 10% below last year’s record, but 9% above the five-year average.
