Lamb prices have finally turned a corner on the back of tighter supplies.

While ex-hurricane Ophelia effected normal processing activity, it was not solely responsible for last week’s kill falling 14,379 head to 54,431, with supplies of finished lambs tightening.

Factories have increased quotes by 5c/kg to 10c/kg in a bid to entice out more lambs.
