The next Shetland Monitor Farm meeting is set to focus on encouraging farmers and crofters to plan for the future and is taking place today (Saturday 1 December).

Topics at the meeting surrounding future planning include understanding the succession planning process and the implications of passing on croft land. Various speakers will be in attendance and other discussions will look at the management of footrot in sheep, as well as a practical session on examining sheep feet.
