Rain will gradually extend countrywide on Tuesday night with some heavier bursts across Leinster and Munster. Lowest temperatures will range from 3°C to 7°C, in moderate easterly breezes, and it will be fresh near coasts.

According to Met Eireann, it will be a damp or wet start to Wednesday with further falls of rain. Rain will tend to break up into showers by the afternoon with some short sunny spells. It will feel cool, with highest temperatures of 8°C to 13°C (north to south). Northeast winds will increase and be moderate to fresh at times, especially around showers.
