The Hahessy farmily from Currakiely, Rathgormack, Co Waterford, featured on the front cover of the Irish Farmers Journal this week.

Paul is a diary and beef farmer and is helped out on the farm by his wife, Tina,and children, Zita-Mai, Zoe-Rose and Brian.

He helped struggling farmers in his area during the prolonged winter and gave away some bales of silage.

On the hottest day of the year so far, Paul took the chance to make his first-cut silage, with his family watching on.
