It will be warmest in the east, with highest temperatures of 15°C to 20°C.

Management notes

Beef

Dairy

Now that growth rates have improved, it is time to cut back on concentrate feeding, says Aidan Brennan in the dairy notes.

Sheep

Farmers should be geared up to take advantage of grass and ensure quality is maintained for grazing, as growth rates are likely to hit peak levels, says Darren Carty in the sheep notes.

Tillage

In the tillage notes, Siobhán Walsh says that there is a nice bit of management to be done in cooler weather in the coming days.
