In this the latest instalment of our video series Kids in the Kitchen, the younger ones are taking over the kitchen. Episode four sees four-year-old Dia McKeever show us how to make her sweet scones with raisins.

She may be young but she knows what she likes. A sweet treat with some jam. Although she might not know all her numbers yet, Dia knows that mixing the scone mixture up is “squishy” and “kinda fun”. Despite offers of help and assistance from her sister, she persists with her efforts to create her sweet scones alone.

If you have a budding baker in your house and you and your child would like to share what they're cooking up while they're home, we'd love to see or hear about it. Send your videos to ICL@farmersjournal.ie
