Heavy and at times intense rainfall has been forecast, with totals of 25mm to 40mm expected. River levels will be elevated as a result of this rainfall, which may result in some rivers flooding, as well as surface flooding.
The warning is valid until 9pm on Sunday.

Met Éireann’s September weather summary has shown that sunshine totals were above average across all stations, while rainfall totals were lower for most of the country.
Air temperatures were near or slightly above average overall, with strong gales recorded in places.
