It's going to be a busy weekend for our pedigree reporters as the show season has one of its busiest days of the summer with four shows taking place up and down the country next Monday. The bank holiday weekend shows are always a major crowd puller and with sunshine forecast, its shaping up to be a great weekend for showing with 100,000 people expected to attend the four shows.

Our livestock team will be at every venue bringing you live reports, results, videos and photos. Below, we take a look at who is going where and what to expect from our coverage in the next few days.

Tinahely Show

Pedigree editor Shane Murphy heads to Tinahely Show in Co Wicklow. This show which takes place in Fairwood Park is in its 83rd year and is one of the biggest shows in the southeast. The show attracts a large entry of young stock people for The Derek Rothwell Memorial Young Stockperson of the Year Championship. The Belgian Blue Cattle society also hold their all-Ireland championships which attracts exhibits from all over the country. For those looking for something different there is the All-Ireland Handmade Quilt Championships and for those looking to test their sheaf-throwing skills there is the the World Record Sheaf Tossing Championship. Castleblayney Show

Beef editor Adam Woods heads to Castleblayney Show in Co Monaghan. Castleblayney Show has grown in popularity in recent years and now attracts a large cattle and horse entry from the surrounding area. The show recorded a record attendance last year of over 10,000 people and this year organisers say it is set to be bigger and better. For those with a sweet tooth the All-Ireland Baking Championship Final takes place with a prize fund of €750.00. Adam will be tweeting off the @fjpedigree twitter account with live updates from the show during the day and results as they come in.

Cloone Agricultural Show

Livestock reporter Anthony Mulligan heads to Cloone in Co Leitrim for one of Leitrim’s largest shows taking place next Monday. The small village comes to life every year for the annual summer show and huge entires of cattle are always received for this popular show. Bonniconlon Agricultural Show

Livestock reporter Daniel McPartlin will be in Bonniconlon, Co Mayo for the largest show in the northwest in 2018. The show takes place on a 200ac site, has a prize fund of €45,000 and attracted over 30,000 visitors last year. This years show plays host to four all-Ireland finals, the junior commercial calf championship, the senior commercial calf championship and the all-Ireland ewe final. This years show also hosts a new commercial cow championship sponsored by the Irish Charolais Cattle Society.
