Some €1m has been paid out to farmers in TAMS money this week, the Department of Agriculture has confirmed.
This brings the total payment for December to €5.4m under the scheme.
Up to 22 December, 11,860 farmers had been approved under the scheme, with 3,140 of those submitting applications for payment.
At that stage, €32.6m had been paid out on 2,350 applications.
