A four-day training course on biogas will take place in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh later this month from 19 to 22 November. The event is organised by the German-based IBBK biogas association in partnership with the Centre for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies (CREST) and the Irish Bioenergy Association (IrBEA).
The four day course will take place at the CREST centre in Enniskillen and will focus heavily on the Irish and UK biogas industry with multiple local speakers and perspectives.
According to Tristan Gruszkos of IBBK, the four main pillars of this training will be:

Biogas plant planning.
Digester Biology and how to operate the most stable process.
Biogas Upgrading to Biomethane with grid injection - challenges and opportunities.
Digestate upgrading.
