The IFA is hosting four regional meetings to discuss the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and update its members on key farming issues.

Association president Tim Cullinan said the meetings will provide an opportunity to present members with updates on campaigns.

“These meetings will allow us to get the views of members on key issues such as CAP reform and input on policy formation.”

IFA director of policy Tadhg Buckley will give a presentation on CAP at the meetings.

Schedule

South Leinster will hold the first meeting on Wednesday evening (20 January), followed by Ulster and north Leinster on Friday, 22 January.

Munster will hold its meeting next Monday (25 January) while the Connacht meeting will take place next Tuesday (26 January).

All meetings are due to run from 7:30 to 9:30pm. An email invitation will be issued to all those who normally receive Microsoft Teams invitations from county executives.
