Dairygold announces bean price of €210/t

Dairygold has set its minimum contract price for green beans in 2019 at €210/t. The price was announced at the co-op's tillage conference in Fermoy on Monday.

Last year's equivalent price was €170/t, with Dairygold paying €230/t.

By comparison, the 2019 contract offer from Quinns of Baltinglass was €220/t for beans, but this offer expired last Friday.
