Over 100 people have signed up so far to the ICOS online courses that are free for co-op members and their families. There are 31 courses now available. These are also applicable to co-op staff and their families.

“The courses are relatively short, you could complete one in three to four hours depending on the one you’re doing,” says Billy Goodburn from ICOS. “Some courses are slide based and others are video based programmes.”

Programmes, currently available include:

Understanding customer service in Ireland.

Negotiation skills.

Effective communications in the workplace.

Time management.

Team leading skills.

Conflict resolution.

Interview preparation.

CV preparation.
