This is up by 1c from the Dutch dairy co-operative’s February guaranteed milk price.

The milk price is based on constituent protein price of €5.8766/kg, fat €2.9383/kg and lactose 0.5877/kg.

The guaranteed milk price is paid to farmers for milk with 3.47% protein, 4.41% fat and 4.51% lactose. Vat is not included in this price.

This milk price is subject to annual supply of 800,000kg, which is up from 600,000kg last year but volume and seasonal premiums are discontinued from 1 January 2017.

FrieslandCampina’s price for organic milk is slightly lower for March at 47.25c/kg (45.88c/l), down from 48c/kg (46.61c/l) in February.
