IFA/GAA farm safety initiative launch at Croke Park.

There is consternation in Northern Ireland with companies outbidding farmers for land to grow feedstock for anaerobic digesters. I wonder if there will be any farmer kickback against the news that the GAA has purchased 50 acres in Naul in Dublin, one of the hottest land markets in the country, to set up a “spare parts” division. The spare parts in question are replacement pitches for the likes of Croke Park and the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh, where the six-month-old pitch received criticism at the weekend. I could call it a growth sector, but I won’t.
