Over 500 machinery lots are expected to be at Hennessy auctioneers' monthly machinery auction in Portlaoise Mart, Co Laois, on Saturday 24 August.

The auction will commence at 11.30am and gates will open for viewing at 8.30am on Saturday morning.

Entries are still being accepted until 6pm today, Friday 23 August.

Entries include various trailers, fertiliser spreaders, ploughs, tractors and cultivation equipment.

A selection of power tools and fencing equipment will also be up for grabs on the day. Proxy bids are allowed for larger items providing items have been previously inspected by the interested party.
