Met Éireann is forecasting a cool and breezy day with sunny spells and showers, many of them heavy or with hail and thunder. Maximum temperatures will range between 9°C and 12°C in fresh and gusty southwest to west wind, which will be strong in Atlantic coastal counties. Winds will remain fresh and gusty at night and temperatures will drop to between 4°C and 6°C.
