The Co Cork-based importer and distributor of the Polish built Samasz brand, Egmont Agri, is set to put on quite the show at Grass 2026 both in terms of the live working demonstrations and static ally in the trade village.

First out for the demo is the KDD 911 STH rear butterfly mowers, complete with belt conveyor groupers and paired up with the XDF 301 SH front mower.

Both mowers are fully Isobus controlled, removing the need for a standalone control terminal.

Being the latest model to the firm’s lineup there are a number of updates including improved blade geometry, new central knife holders alongside Samasz’s innovative pressure relief system with pressure monitoring and automatic adjustment.

The KDD 911 STH has an overall working width of 9.1m and can form swaths from 1.9m to 2.3m in width.

The PerfectCut cutterbar features quick release knives, along with a SafeGear protection system.

The XDF 301 SH front mower uses a pull-type flotation system and features a 3m working width.

It uses hydro-pneumatic suspension independent of the tractor in the range of +520mm to -320mm for precise ground following.

The large Samasz P12 12-rotor tedder offers a 13.3m working width.

Also taking part within the mower category is the XT 350 3.5m side mounted plain non-conditioner mower. The XT range uses a centre pivot design along with the proven PerfectCut cutterbar and SafeGear system.

Cutting height is adjustable from 4.5cm to 7cm which increases to 6cm to 9cm when fitted with high-cutting skids. Extra high cutting skids increase the cutting height between 8cm and 12cm for the purposes of topping.

Also working on the day will be a Samasz P12, 13.3m 12-rotor trailed tedder. Each 1.53m rotor is equipped with six arms. The firm claims that the close mounting of the wheels to the tedder tines allows for optimised adaptation to the ground’s contours. The P12 is equipped with a headland kit as standard.

Egmont will also demonstrate the Samasz Z2-780H twin-rotor rake, a machine many will not have seen in action before.

The Z2-780H offers a 7.20m to 7.60m mechanical working width adjustment as standard with the option of hydraulic width adjustment if required. Ground pressure is mechanically adjusted via relief springs while rotor height adjustment is done mechanically. Each rotor is seated on a six-wheel tandem bogie unit for best possible contour adaptation.

Each rotor features 11 tine arms with four tines on each. Grass equipment will be the dominant theme back on the Egmont Agri trade stand where it will showcase a number of mowers, tedders and Rohan Engineering bale handling equipment.

Hoping to offer something for everyone, the XT 350 plain side mounted disc mower will work on the day.

Models will include the Samasz Samba Swift Cut mower, designed as a lightweight farm-scale machine, the Samasz KDT centre pivot mower which features mechanical sprung suspension alongside the Samasz KDF 302 S front conditioner mower.

There will also be smaller P4 four rotor and P6 six rotor mounted tedders on display.
